New Tour Dates Announced

TOOL ANNOUNCE EXTENSIVE 2022 TOUR DATES FOR U.S. & EUROPE

TICKETS AVAILABLE THIS FRIDAY, OCT. 1

“Let’s finish what we started. Shall we?” – Maynard James Keenan

TOOL have announced a mammoth 2022 tour, with the Los Angeles-based band spending 3 months traversing the U.S. followed by a month of European dates.

TOOL elected to kick off the highly-anticipated trek in Eugene, Ore. as a nod to the abrupt halt to their 2020 Fear Inoculum tour. Slated to play the Matthew Knight Arena on March 12, 2020, the show, along with the band’s remaining tour dates, was canceled as nationwide lockdowns began to take effect that evening.

“It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road,” said Danny Carey. “These past 18 months have been trying to say the least but from great trials come great lessons and great rewards. We are genuinely looking forward to sharing them with you.”

Tickets for all dates are on-sale this Friday, Oct. 1 at 10 am local time (UK and Irish dates are on-sale at 9 am local time). TOOLARMY members can purchase pre-sale tickets for European dates on Sept. 28 at 10 am local time (24 hour pre-sale window), while U.S. pre-sale tickets are available on Sept. 29 at 10 am local time (36 hour pre-sale window). A selection of exclusive packages, which include a pre-sale ticket, will also be made available to TOOL Army members on Sept. 29 at 10 am local time.

I saw Tool at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Saturday, February 19, 2022. It's the third time I saw Tool live in concert. The first time was at The Dunkin' Donuts Center in my hometown, Providence, Rhode Island on August 17, 2002 and the second time was at The Tweeter Center (now called Xfinity Center) in Mansfield, Massachusetts on July 12, 2007.

I already have tickets for the Feb 22nd concert, but it’s not front row. Yup, I got so spoiled the first time I saw them. I’m short! I’m afraid I won’t be able to see them through the tall dudes in front of me.

Hmmm…I wouldn’t mind a trip to Europe, maybe I can see them and check off a travel bucket list, hope for front row tickets?

Not to mention the lack of professionalism you have shown by not even explaining those cancellations to your faithful masses, and to be honest, It give us the impression that you don’t really care about us.

After almost two years of a pandemic, you should know how much this tour means to us.

Unfortunately, the mass cancellations of packages today have already soured what should have been an occasion to celebrate.

Additionally, Tool Army is not a free membership. We pay annually for the benefits, which makes today's display of total incompetence even more disgraceful and infuriating.

Not to mention all of those people that joined TA to be able to make pre-sale purchases, only to have them ripped away, with no rhyme or reason.

The financial burden this has placed on many, not to mention logistical inconveniences in the form of BELIEVING WE had a solid purchase based on a CONFIRMED receipt, therefore WE didn’t feel the need to purchase any other tickets under the pre-sale, and hours of stress and anxiety now... and caused by what? Over selling? A computer glitch? Bad math?? We deserve more than a cancellation email and refund.
We are, as a collective, pissed off, and rightly so.
We plan on holding you accountable. We ask that you make this right, as paying members of Tool Army and fans of the band.

Just received this email from tool army. I get it, shit happens. Thank you for the response. Thank you for looking out for us. Best compromise I can think of too...besides a complimentary signed artifact. That would be cool.

After reassessing the present inventory for March 15 in Kansas City, we are unable to replace the GOLD packages. However we are currently holding 2 BRONZE packages for you with an opportunity to purchase these package(s).

Had VIP last year to take my 11 yr old son to his first concert to see his fav band. We held on the bitter end until they were refunded and we were all crushed. We were lucky to get gold this round and then they were CANCELLED 😡 This is utterly ridiculous! Crushed again. We had gold, now we have nothing and we’re our money from the refund due to the exchange rate. This needs to be corrected.

Got my cancellation today. 5 days after confirmation of purchase. No offer of other tickets ro be purchased in the nose bleed section for half of my paycheck. Just the same explanation from them that I have to break to my 9 year old. Figured gold would be the way to go for his first concert seeing his heroes. Awesome

Sorry, Jeff. That really sucks. The fact that we were notified after the presale ended really upsets me.

Had to tell my 13 the same about the Gold package. Then had to pay 3 times face value for tickets.

TA should really make this right and send us something … or at least a damn response to our emails!

Why did my Gold Package get refunded!!? I am heartbroken. Had I known this would happen, I would have tried for good regular tickets. After my first Gold VIP package from last year was cancelled, and for very good reason, I was bummed, but understood. This is not cool at all. I would love some explanation!

Excited to see Tool in Phoenix, Arizona. First show was 2006 at the Gorge in WA. Second show in Glendale, Arizona 2019. That Gorge show blew my 19 year old small town girl mind at the time. Still the best show I have seen. The energy and everything about that night was fantastic!

I was going to wait to buy tickets on October 1st, but remembered I was still a part of Tool Army. I didn’t go for vip or floor. Happy with the seats I got to pick out. Currently enjoying the fall season, but it is nice having a concert to genuinely look forward to at the beginning of 2022.

“From great trials come great lessons and great rewards.” Danny Carey quote. This quote from Danny really stood out to me on a personal level. 2020 I tried to be more selfless. I donated blood 3 times that year. Lost weight not only for my health, but so I could enter in one of the clinical trials. I ended up getting to participate in that. I know we all meet our end one day, but if I could through even a small action help prevent loved ones from dying from Covid. I wanted to do just that. Not trying to push anything on anyone. I just love the Fear Inoculum album and excited for this show after everything people have gone through these last couple of years.

We had silver packages that got cancelled. We just bought some other tickets not on the floor, and I was so happy about the awesome visuals from a distance. I have seen them 20+ times from first row center to the bench seats. The visuals are best from a distance. It’s all good.

You know, I’ve seen them from both first, and second, row center, then also in various distance seats over the years, and yes, the lasers and visuals are best from further back and a little bit up. I’ve never been nose bleed because I’m way to old to be messing with that, so can’t comment.

Thought about it & decided to sit this one out.
Don't know what tomorrow will bring or what the next 4 months has in store for us.
Food prices are going up.
Gas prices are soaring.

In these times, survival can be hard.

I would rather put food in my mouth sitting in my warm home listening to TOOL on my headphones full throttle as opposed to going to a show to with nothing but ungrateful self entitled punks who deserve nothing more than a fist up their asses.

THEY OWE YOU NOTHING.

Yes, they do. I paid for a TA membership MANY years ago to gain access to presale tickets. I paid $500 for a gold package, that according to the site, was in stock when I checked out at 10.02am. I am owed exactly what I paid for,

Glad you are satisfied with one show. I am not … I bust my ass and sacrifice so I can put food on the table and blow half my entertainment budget for the year taking my teen son to a show of both our favorite bands. That’s a priority to me and a memory that should last a lifetime.

We arnt whining about the band … this is directed at the folks that run this part of the business. Yes, they owe us … ‘they’ being the folks that are responsible for handling this site. Part of the problem with the human species is we tolerate incompetence far too often. We arnt talking about rocket science or curing cancer here. Basically, asking that your system can count to 10 and even if it f’s up you can inform folks in a timely enough manner to supply the service that we pay for. These aren’t volunteers, but professionals (that probably have no issue putting food on the table). There is nothing wrong with respectfully holding professionals to the most minimal standard.

In summary, take your self righteous attitude and shove it wherever you like.

Shopify is the storefront the band uses to sell these packages and their merch. It is legit. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be able to see that the refund has already landed back into my bank account.

We, as a collective of Tool Army members, are infuriated by what can only be described as a new level of incompetence shown today on your part. Not to mention the lack of professionalism you have shown by not even explaining those cancellations to your faithful masses, and to be honest, It give us the impression that you don’t really care about us.

After almost two years of a pandemic, you should know how much this tour means to us.

Unfortunately, the mass cancellations of packages today have already soured what should have been an occasion to celebrate.

Additionally, Tool Army is not a free membership. We pay annually for the benefits, which makes today's display of total incompetence even more disgraceful and infuriating.

Not to mention all of those people that joined TA to be able to make pre-sale purchases, only to have them ripped away, with no rhyme or reason.

The financial burden this has placed on many, not to mention logistical inconveniences in the form of BELIEVING WE had a solid purchase based on a CONFIRMED receipt, therefore WE didn’t feel the need to purchase any other tickets under the pre-sale, and hours of stress and anxiety now... and caused by what? Over selling? A computer glitch? Bad math?? We deserve more than a cancellation email and refund.
We are, as a collective, pissed off, and rightly so.
We plan on holding you accountable. We ask that you make this right, as paying members of Tool Army and fans of the band.

We look forward to hearing from you soon with some sort of resolution.

IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY PACKAGES I CAN PURCHASE?
Yes. TOOLARMY members can purchase up to 2 packages of any level per show. If a single member is found to have purchased more than two packages for a show, their order can be cancelled and refunded without notice.

The way I read it is presale and VIP packages have different rules this says 2 packages per show so you could buy vip pack to every show but the regular presale tickets are limited to 4 tickets at only one show

What’s the general location of these seats? First 3-4 rows? Somewhat center stage hopefully? A little annoying that you don’t know where your seats will be until the day of. Oh well.

From what I understand Silver, Gold and Bronze are the same thing. The only difference is with Gold you get a signed item. The level you purchase has no effect on seating. All levels get great seating. I scored silver for NYC and I'm good with that. Have an awesome time!!!

Altho Tool has touched my soul since early 90's, I renewed Tool Army on Monday for the presale. Immediately after TA payment went through my presale code appeared on my account. Using my macbook pro & safari, looked into TA account at 9:30 AM pst, link took me to AXS which put me in the AXS waiting room. Within 2 minutes - at 10:02 AM, as the presale started at 10 - I had my ticket for the Vegas show. Everything worked like a f*ckng charm + was amazing. I'm beyond ecstatic! Huge thank u to the Tool worker-bees & all others of the various companies behind the scenes for the fantastic job. No words capture the immense happiness you all have helped bring today. ☀️

The boxes will contain a combination of show specific and tour exclusive items. Items will vary by package tier. The items are limited in nature and are only available within either the Gold, Silver or Bronze level boxes.

I have two Silver packages and still got seats in the front row of the 100 level. My wife is 5’2” and the last time we saw them from the floor it was terrible. I also think you can get a better perspective of their show from 100 or 200 levels. I’ll be looking to make someone very happy at the Tampa show when I give them my floor seats!

I didn't see that Tool has a requirement in the post. I would say it varies by venue. The ones I am going to are all different. Philly doesn't specify vaccination but you have to wear a mask. Newark has no vaccination requirement but 'suggests' a mask. Buffalo states mandatory vaccination and masks are optional. Belmont (NY) doesn't say squat but I assume one will need proof of vaccination as it's right outside of NYC. AHHHHHH!!

All three packages come with Premium Floor Tickets. Location of seating cannot be guaranteed and ADA seating may vary per venue.


The boxes will contain a combination of show specific and tour exclusive items. Items will vary by package tier. The items are limited in nature and are only available within either the Gold, Silver or Bronze level boxes.


The Gold package is limited to 10 per show and will contain an item signed by the band.

you can see the packages right now, gold silver and bronze, but the description is the exact same for all three. just a guess here but i would think the perks are all the same and the gold tier is row 1 and 2, and silver tier is row 3-5 etc. but that's just speculation

It says gold very limited, silver Limited and nothing on bronze. So I would be nervous that Bronze is to the side of the stage up in the stands......that would suck.
